Prague – “The Mother of cities, The Heart of Europe” kept me busy throughout the day. The hustle bustle of the city on a weekend proved that it’s one of the most charming cities that attracts tourists. My colleague and I walked and walked looking around the important spots. Each street kept us busy. Quite some castles, cathedrals, bridges, and nothing less than spires everywhere! The city seemed to speak its culture by its architecture. Fine ones from the 14th century and earlier. The entire city seemed to be posing for pictures from the Charles Bridge. Depictions of Infant Jesus everywhere with open hands seemed soothing. It appeared to tell me “Come unto me for I am there for you always!”

After a busy day we grabbed some dinner and retired to bed. Mild music filling my ears, I slept peacefully. Mind alarm woke me up and I looked at the mobile to see it was 4 am. Unable to fall asleep again, I was picturising every moment from the previous day. Cute couple, lovely toddlers, active little ones, buzzing market, shopping women, selfie crowds, trams and cars sharing the lines, fruity candies, souvenir shops, adventurous youngsters – what a busy city! If Alice was in wonderland in solitude, each one here seemed to live in their own wonderlands even amongst the crowd.
As my thoughts wandered, I saw that it was 5 am. I took a shower and came out for a walk. The city seemed to still sleep. Birds were chirping around and flowers seemed to smile at me. After a short walk, I sat on the bench in a tiny little garden in the hotel. I could hear nothing but only birds. “Creech, cich, cikki cikki, tootoo, krikri” – how many tunes do they have! Mild wind kissed the flowers and she glittered pink and shy!

Birds flew here and there and my eyes were fixed to a couple of them. A little sloping roof was their romantic Eiffel. She jumped down and he seemed to follow her steps. She took a step and he flew in front. He looked at her and she smiled at him. They flew up. This repeated again and again and I could not count over fifteen such iterations.
A single rose still smiled. She appeared humble but with pride; smiling to a melancholy; loud but gentle; friendly but unfriendly; Mixed emotions toggled within me. Probably she was keeping away from the many of them pulling her down, safeguarding herself with the thorns!!

A tiny little bird was in a cage. He was beautiful. As his colour, he really was Blue!! His cuteness attracted me. Unfortunately he didn’t seem to be comfortable. He appeared extremely scared. Maybe I seemed a monster to him. He tried flying within the cage but it was his limits. I kept a finger and he seemed scared at first. Slowly he came unto me. The tiny creature had hundreds of stories to tell I felt. I looked into his eyes and he looked into mine. I could feel the pain of his life. Slowly he made a soft creech. I replied with one. He jumped and came quite near. He touched me finally with his beak. I was no longer scary to him. He remained near me and made sharp sounds. I repeated to his tune. The pain seemed vanishing. I could see the glow in his eyes.

I touched the little florets. They seemed to smile at me. They are unable to freely move but try to widen their horizons as much as they can. They are fixed to a little pot but do not seem to feel to lower themselves. The tiny green branches seemed to stretch themselves as much as they can. Their nerves seemed to arise high and high as if hot blood was flowing within them to keep them active. They would not give up just because they are fixed to one place! They seemed reaching the horizon with all their strength!
The hustle hustle city yesterday and the calm Serene morning seemed to teach me many lovely things. Dance to the tunes, enjoy the situation with people around or enjoy the calmness with no one around. Crowd is not always joyful nor is loneliness always killing! Smile to the breeze of nature and let it touch you to remind that there is a positive rhythm around you always. Listen to the little creatures that show you how to extend your horizons, live in love, smile and dance. There can be no more monsters than humans destroying nature but they still seem to smile at us! Cut down the branches and they’d still grow. Don’t be the one broken and crying but arise and shine, smiling at life! Live the moment and reach the horizon! The Church Bell rang and the pigeons danced awakening my lost spirit!
